The new roll-fed slitter/sheeter system is specially designed to process exceptionally difficult material. This system slits and sheets rolls of material weighing up to 8,000 lb. and uses a shaftless unwind, to allow fast changing of rolls. The material is slit, accumulated through controlled gravity loops to restrict material stretch, and cut using a gap shear cutter. A gripper stacker grabs the sheets and stacks them for use.
